We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical issues resulting from injury, illness, or disability. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and a strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients of all ages, mainly geriatrics, neurological and post surgery clients, to develop tailored treatment plans that promote recovery and improve mobility.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings.
Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options and rehabilitation exercises.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.
Lone working, hence clear communication with manager and clients themselves.
Skills
Proven experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of paediatric physiotherapy practices is an advantage.
Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
In-depth understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to physiotherapy.
Familiarity with medical terminology used in clinical settings.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating initiative in clinical practice.
