Freelance Pilates Tutor (Consultancy)

The Fitness Group Education is seeking an experienced Freelance Pilates Tutor to work with us on a consultancy basis. This opportunity is ideal for self-employed Pilates professionals who enjoy teaching and mentoring, and who are looking to add flexible, rewarding education work alongside their existing freelance commitments.

About the Role

You'll deliver high-quality Pilates education to learners working towards recognised qualifications. This role suits confident practitioners who are comfortable sharing their industry knowledge and supporting aspiring fitness professionals.

Work is offered on a flexible, sessional basis, making it a great fit for tutors balancing studio teaching, private clients, or other freelance work.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Pilates teaching (theory and practical elements) Support and assess learners in line with awarding body standards Provide clear, constructive feedback to support learner progression Complete required assessment and learner documentation Represent The Fitness Group Education professionally at all times
Essential Requirements

Level 3 Mat Pilates qualification (or equivalent) Proven experience delivering Pilates sessions Confidence communicating with groups of learners Reliable, organised, and professional approach Ability to work independently as a consultant
Desirable

Previous experience as a tutor, assessor, or trainer Teaching or assessing qualifications (e.g. AET, TAQA) Experience working within fitness education or training providers
