Freelance Property Manager (Part-time, flexible cover role)

Guested is a growing holiday let management company based in Falmouth. We pride ourselves on a personal approach, making sure every guest feels at home in Cornwall, while giving property owners complete peace of mind. We're now expanding and looking for the right person to join us on the journey.

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, organised and friendly person to support our holiday lets on a freelance, part-time basis. This is a flexible role, with hours that vary week to week, but it will be especially important during times when the owner is away. In particular, we need strong cover over the busy Christmas and New Year period (3 weeks), when guest bookings and support requests are at their peak.

For the right person, this role may grow into more hours and greater responsibility next year as Guested continues to expand.

Responsibilities

Manage guest messaging, bookings and enquiries (all through our platform) during cover periods Be the on-call contact for guests, resolving issues quickly and professionally Carry out property checks to ensure properties are presented to a high standard Restock properties with essentials (cleaning products, toiletries, kitchen basics etc.) Coordinate cleaners, linen services and tradespeople When the owner is away: arrange rented linen into the correct amounts for each property before check-ins Deliver or collect welcome packs and essentials when needed

What we're looking for

Based in or near Falmouth, with good local knowledge Professional, approachable and quick-thinking in guest-facing situations Comfortable using apps or online platforms to manage bookings and guest communication Flexible availability (including evenings/weekends, especially over Christmas and New Year) Driver with access to a car (essential) Hospitality, property management or customer service experience is a bonus, but reliability and attitude are most important

Hours & pay

Freelance / self-employed basis Flexible, ad hoc hours (average 5-10 per week), with additional hours during cover periods 14-15 per hour standard rate 16-18 per hour during busy holiday cover (e.g. Christmas & New Year) Additional bonuses available for exceptional guest feedback or handling urgent call-outs
