Job Overview:
We are looking for a freelance retail Sales Associate to help us during the Christmas season. AS a freelance worker, you will have the flexibility to work part-time or full-time based on availability and stall needs. You will play a key role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers by helping them find the perfect gifts for their loved ones. Responsibilities include customer engagement, showcasing our unique products, and processing sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet and engage with customers warmly, providing product knowledge and answering any questions about our offerings.
- Product Demonstration: Showcase and explain our products, especially highlighting the uniqueness of our poems and images tailored for family members and various interests (e.g., animals, fairies, and Christmas themes).
- Sales Transactions: Handle payments, process sales using the POS system, and ensure accurate cash handling.
- Product Organization: Assist in restocking the stall, ensuring that all products are well-displayed and attractively arranged.
- Festive Spirit: Contribute to creating a positive, festive atmosphere that enhances the holiday shopping experience.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the stall remains clean, tidy, and welcoming to customers at all times.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak holiday shopping periods.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with handling cash and POS systems.
- A passion for Christmas and the festive season, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday hours as needed.
- Attention to detail in product presentation and stall organization.
