Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design and engineering, with experience in various software tools essential for creating innovative designs. This role offers the flexibility of freelance work while contributing to exciting projects that require a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.

Duties

Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and project requirements. Develop detailed designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. Create system designs that meet industry standards and client specifications. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information and ensure designs are feasible within the construction context. Prepare technical documentation, including drawings and specifications, for project submissions. Liaise with other professionals, including engineers and contractors, to ensure cohesive project execution.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Familiarity with Mathcad for engineering calculations is advantageous. Understanding of construction processes and regulations relevant to design work. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members and clients.
