Primary Training Solutions (PTS) is a subsidiary of Primary Care Sheffield (PCS

) a not-for-profit company set up and developed by General Practice in Sheffield to provide support in delivering world class primary care.

PTS

provides training to a wide range of sectors where we have first-hand experience of running businesses. With experienced trainers designing our training packages, our courses have been created specifically for the needs of our clients. We are experiencing a period of rapid growth in delivery to both Primary Care and other sectors across South Yorkshire and beyond.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at

PTS

for additional Free Lance Trainer to support our delivery.

You will have excellent presentation skills, experience of delivering Mental Health and Safeguarding Training and a passion for people development.

You will be responsible for delivering client facing training primarily across Sheffield and South Yorkshire, with the requirement for travel beyond the region where required.



We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Trainers to join our team. The successful candidates will deliver a variety of training courses including:

Delivery of training sessions in the following subject areas:

Mental Health First Aid Training (both accredited and non-accredited)

Mental Health Awareness

Suicide Prevention

Bereavement by Suicide

Safeguarding (All levels, both children & adult)

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Please note that the training listed is not exhaustive, and additional courses may be required as part of the role. Although most training will be delivered in person, some may be delivered online, so candidates should be comfortable with online delivery platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to individuals and groups. Tailor training sessions to meet the specific needs of each group. Conduct assessments to ensure delegates have acquired the necessary skills and knowledge. Provide constructive feedback and support to delegates. Stay current with the latest practices and training techniques. Maintain accurate records of all training sessions and assessments. Ensure training materials and equipment are up-to-date and well-maintained. Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:



Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering training in the subject areas listed above. A recognised Mental Health qualification (Level 2-3 or higher), such as; Level 2 or 3 Award/Certificate in Mental Health Awareness. Licensed MHFA Instructor qualification. Strong communication and presentation skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Level 3 Teaching and / or assessor qualification Full UK Driving Licence Background in healthcare, emergency services, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
