Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team at Apex Jiu Jitsu Finsbury Park. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Wrestling or Judo coaching and a commitment to educating beginners as well as more advanced practitioners. This role is essential for fostering a positive and competitive environment where individuals can thrive and develop their abilities. While Apex Jiu Jitsu is primarily a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy, we offer a range of classes in different disciplines to promote a well-rounded curriculum.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual members. Educate members on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport. Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and safe. Monitor members' progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. Foster teamwork, discipline, and respect among members. Maintain open communication with members, parents, and other stakeholders regarding progress and development. Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and sports developments to continually improve coaching methods.

Qualifications

Proven experience of at least 3 years of sports coaching or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of the Wrestling or Judo being coached. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate effectively. Ability to motivate and inspire members of varying skill levels. Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and competition logistics. First Aid certification is desirable but not mandatory. A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive environment for all participants.

Pay: 30.00 per hour
