Job Description

We are a dynamic and growing logistics company specialising in providing seamless global freight solutions. Our mission is to deliver excellence in supply chain management, ensuring efficient transportation of goods by air, sea, and road. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Freight Forwarder/ Account Manager to join our team and help drive our international shipping operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire freight forwarding process, from initial inquiry to final delivery.

Coordinate and arrange international shipments (air, sea, and road freight) in compliance with relevant regulations.

Communicate with clients, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transport of goods.

Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, ensuring competitive pricing for customers.

Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs clearance forms, and export/import paperwork.

Monitor shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while managing any potential delays or issues.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.

Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in freight forwarding.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.

Knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in using freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office.

A good understanding of air, sea, and road freight processes.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex logistics challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with freight forwarding in specific industries such as retail, manufacturing, or automotive.

Knowledge of Incoterms, Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), and customs classifications.

Fluent in a second language (desirable but not essential).
