French Polisher

About Us:

Francey Limited Joiners & Shopfitters are an established main contracting company in the Construction Industry working throughout the United Kingdom and primarily across Central Scotland with commercial and residential refurbishment projects ranging from 25,000 to 2,000,000

:

Experienced High Quality French Polisher required for immediate start.

Minimum 40 hours per week : additional hours are available

Must hold valid CSCS card.

Minimum 5 years time-served experience

Job Purpose:

To apply high quality french polish or spray finish to bespoke manufactured joinery items for on-site installation by shopfitting joiners

Duties:

Produces finished products and services by following standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.

Determines and documents material requirements.

Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

Prepares layout by following procedures for prioritisation of items to meet site deadlines.

Ensures all equipment and spray booth is well maintained, cleaned and serviced regularly.

Advising management on needed actions.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Provides information to colleagues by answering questions and requests.

Maintains continuity among all project teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and working hours required to achieve client deadlines

Skills / Qualifications:

Essential : Attention to Detail, Planning, Spray Booth and Equipment experience and knowledge, CSCS card, Basic Safety, Judgment, Customer Service

Preferable : Conceptual Skills, Supply Management, Equipment Maintenance, Presenting Technical Information
