Front Desk & Hotel Operations Team Member
to join our team at the Delmont Hotel. This is a varied role that requires excellent customer service skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage hotel operations when the owners are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing all aspects of reception, including guest check-ins and check-outs, handling bookings, and providing excellent customer service.
Ensuring smooth day-to-day running of the hotel, taking responsibility for operations in the absence of the owners.
Assisting in the restaurant and bar as needed, particularly during busy periods.
Effectively communicating with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared for guest check-ins and all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard.
Handling any guest queries, complaints, or requests in a professional manner.
Supporting other departments as necessary to ensure an outstanding guest experience.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role is desirable.
A proactive and hands-on attitude, with the ability to take initiative and lead when required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility to assist across different areas of the hotel, including reception, restaurant, and bar.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour.
Skills
Strong background in hospitality with a focus on guest services.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in using hotel management software and basic computer applications.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in bookings and records.
A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service in a hotel environment.
