Zipyard Clothing Alterations seeks an organized and friendly Front desk peroson to manage our front office operations. This is a key customer service role, acting as clients' first point of contact.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding client service at the front desk

- Ability to pin customer clothes and fitting with minimal supervision

- Schedule and manage customer appointments for clothing alterations using our scheduling software

-Arrange and prepare daily work for the seamstress and tailor

-Work with the seamstress to ensure that they meet their daily target.

- Ability to take basic customer measurements and fitting

- Answer incoming phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner

- Process payments, manage cash drawer, and handle daily cash reconciliation

- Maintain organized client files and records, tracking order status and details

- Coordinate pickup and delivery of customer orders when needed

- Perform general administrative duties like filing, photocopying, ordering supplies, etc.

- Assist in light cleaning and organization of the front office and lobby areas

Requirements:

- Ability to pin and fit customer's dress with minimal supervision

- Prior experience in an administrative, receptionist, or customer service role

-Prior experience in working in similar industry - This is required

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills to juggle various duties

- Basic math skills to handle payment processing and cash handling

- Professional and friendly demeanour

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- High school diploma; some college preferred
