Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and optimising web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and platforms.

Duties

Design and implement responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Develop applications using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js. Integrate with back-end services and APIs, including RESTful services and GraphQL. Utilise version control systems like Git or SVN for code management. Conduct unit testing to ensure high-quality code and functionality. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from planning to deployment. Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring cross-browser compatibility. Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB to manage application data. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

Proficiency in front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js; familiarity with Node.js is advantageous. Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Django, ASP.NET, or Ruby on Rails is a plus. Familiarity with web design principles and UX best practices. Experience with tools like Docker, Jenkins, or Ansible for DevOps practices. Understanding of data visualisation techniques using libraries like D3.js or Chart.js. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in coding standards. Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment using tools like Jira or Trello.
