Nitro Solutions provides IT support services and software development for several growing businesses across Scotland. Our team is responsible for systems support, websites, internal systems development, and many other areas. This role will expand our growing team to cater to both our internal company growth and external clientele projects.

Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an ambitious Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about web design with a creative flair and a strong desire to grow in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain websites and web applications using front-end frameworks, such as React. Implement and integrate APIs with a focus on creating seamless user experiences. Utilize HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to deliver high-quality web development projects. Think outside the box to come up with creative solutions to challenges that arise during development. Work with TypeScript and contribute to the development of scalable, efficient applications. Collaborate effectively within a team, while also managing individual priorities to meet project scope and deadlines. Ensure high-quality output by performing thorough testing on all work completed.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Proven development experience with front-end frameworks such as React. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with API implementation. Exceptional skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions. Proficiency in TypeScript. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to self-manage priorities and workloads. Confidence in testing and maintaining high-quality code.

Additional Skills (Desirable but not required):

Experience with back-end development using NodeJS. Familiarity with both SQL and No-SQL databases.

Working Environment:

Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, where multiple projects may be running simultaneously. While teamwork is integral to our workflow, certain project elements may require independent work before collaboration. The ability to effectively manage time and problem-solve under pressure is crucial.
