The Team:



Forming part of the wider Times Media customer team, and sitting within the Customer Optimisation team, we work to deliver front end optimisations and experiments which improve the customer journeys and experiences, to directly drive business value.



Role Objectives:



+ You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the front-end of The Times and Sunday Times digital products, working in partnership with the internal and external digital platform teams, and internal marketing ans subscription team stakeholders.



+ We are looking for a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our team based in London Bridge.



+ You'll report to the Experimentation Lead and will help him/her deliver on the optimization and experimentation strategy and tactical implementation.



+ You will optimise existing capabilities built by the product team, developing robust front-end digital solutions.



+ You will contribute to running experiments and driving optimisations to achieve key business outcomes.



What we are looking for from you:



+ Proficient experience using Javascript, HTML, CSS, and potentially WordPress, to build engaging, content-driven experiences.



+ Familiarity with integrating and utilising A/B testing and experimentation tooling (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize).



+ A solid understanding of automation testing and how to contribute to implementing and maintaining a valuable test suite.



+ Understanding of agile methodologies and a collaborative approach to teamwork.



+ A passion for well-crafted and tested code, with consideration for architecture, performance, and security.



+ Experience integrating and working with third-party vendor solutions, such as Zephr, alongside proprietary first-party codebases.
