Job Title: Front of House and Operations Support Receptionist

Location: London

Salary: \xc2\xa324,856 per annum

Job type: Full time \xe2\x80\x93 Average 40h per week, as rostered including shift work and weekends

The role:

A vacancy has arisen for a Receptionist within the Club Operations function of Commercial Services at the RSM. The Receptionist is the first point of contact of our exclusive members club and venue ad the role would suit someone who is both a good team worker and is comfortable in lone working and committed to providing high quality service.

Dealing with all customer enquiries

  • in person, on the telephone and via e-mail.
  • Administering, responding and processing all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with company policy.
  • Performing check in, check out and reservation duties including the billing process accurately and efficiently and following up with No Shows within the time frame.
  • Any statistical data as requested and shown.
  • To be able to start and close a shift independently, and ensure banking and ledger totals are correct
Offer an excellent customer service to the guests reflecting the standards of the RSM.
  • Greet guests
  • Recognise regular guests and preferences
  • Making sure their needs are met
  • Ensuring a pleasant visit to the RSM
  • Liaising with other departments, such as Food and Beverage regarding any requests \xe2\x80\x93 SOP provided
Dealing with guest complaints, comments and requests
  • First point of contact for any issues and resolve accordingly where possible
  • Contact DM if escalation needed
  • Fulfilling all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
Assisting in general administrative duties.
  • Operating the telephone switchboards including the transferring of calls and taking messages for all departments.
  • As and when assist with postal deliveries / parcels etc
  • Checking Membership identity documentation as and when required.
  • To direct event delegates to the meeting spaces
The Candidate:
  • Proven current experience in hospitality / hotel industry in a reception or similar role.
  • Previous / Current operation on Hospitality PMS systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs. Certification or higher in Hospitality / Tourism studies
  • Health and Safety certification
  • First Aid certificate
  • Fire marshal trained
  • Previous experience of the Rezylnx PMS
  • Previous experience of the Dynamics 365 System
And must have experience in the following:
  • Customer Service
  • The ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • External awareness
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A pleasant disposition and a conscientious attitude to work
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to work flexibly and adapt to a changing environment
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Making sure guests are greeted, welcomed, and checked into the hotel.
  • Direct delegates to events spaces
  • Making sure to reply to queries as efficiently and quickly as possible
  • Offering great customer service to guests and able to assist in the event of an emergency evacuation.
  • Providing a visible point of contact for all persons entering the Society\xe2\x80\x99s premises.
