The Front of House Assistant will support a wide range of duties, covering reception-based administrative tasks, as well as the functionality and presentation of communal spaces. This is a varied, hands-on role that plays a key part in ensuring a welcoming, well-organised environment across our three sites in Bristol. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front desk and shared spaces, while upholding high standards of customer service, safety, and confidentiality.

Please note:

the position requires a consistent on-site presence and therefore does not lend itself to remote or hybrid working.

Key responsibilities



Daily reception and administrative tasks Ensure communal and front-of-house areas are well presented and fully functional Accurate receipt and distribution of deliveries, across the site(s) Act as a first point of contact for members, visitors, and colleagues Support on events, meeting room and behind-the-scenes operations Work flexibly across three sites where required Assist multiple departments as needed to support smooth operations Anticipate requirements and proactively step in to get the job done

What you need to bring to the role of Front of House Assistant



A high level of reliability and professionalism Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Great communication skills A genuine care for delivering an excellent customer and visitor experience A vibrant, professional approach to work and a positive attitude Enthusiasm and confidence when engaging with new people Flexibility and willingness to work within different departments and sites The ability to work independently and take initiative Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high standards Proficiency in IT, with a willingness to learn new software, including Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite
