We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of House Assistant Manager to lead our hospitality team in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Duties
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring timely service.
Work alongside our General Manager for a smooth and consistent operation with customer service being paramount
Supervise and train staff on food preparation, serving techniques, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service standards.
Manage shift schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide ongoing coaching to foster a motivated team environment.
Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and oversee inventory control to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and food handling procedures; maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Assist in hiring processes including interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members.
Support kitchen management by coordinating with culinary staff on food production, quality control, and food presentation standards.
Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs and controlling operational expenses.
Promote a positive guest experience through attentive service, problem resolution, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service or casual dining environments.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with POS system for order processing and cash handling.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, development, and supervising teams effectively.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, and cost management within a food service setting.
Background in hospitality management is advantageous but not mandatory.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
