Join our team as a Front of House Assistant Manager and help lead the front-of-house operations in a customer-focused environment. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding customer service in a lively, fast-paced setting.
Manage our social media accounts and grow our online presence.
Assist with food preparation and ensure all food handling meets safety standards and quality expectations.
Oversee POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Manage shift schedules, monitor inventory control, and ensure proper food production and presentation.
Train, develop, and mentor team members to enhance their skills in food service, customer engagement, and restaurant operations.
Support kitchen management by supervising food safety practices, food production processes, and ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
Assist with budgeting, cost control measures, and maintaining operational efficiency across all front-of-house functions.
Participate in interviewing new staff candidates to build a strong team aligned with our service standards.
Lead by example in hospitality management practices, including supervising staff during busy shifts and managing restaurant flow during peak hours.
Support catering events, banquet services, or casual dining operations as needed to ensure smooth execution.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry; previous assistant manager experience is highly valued.
Strong background in food service management with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and supervising diverse teams.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, shift management, and food handling procedures.
Knowledge of hospitality management principles including kitchen management, food production, catering, and bar services is advantageous.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
