Location

We are in the picturesque village of Otterburn around 40 minutes outside of Newcastle. Due to the location of the venue the ability to drive is vitally important.

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team at Le Petit Chateau which comprises of our fabulous wedding venue and our cosy gastro Pub, William De Percy.

As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional experience. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service, as you will be responsible for managing guest interactions and supporting the overall operations of our establishment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements. Provide menus and offer recommendations based on guest preferences. Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently. Ensure that the dining area is clean, tidy, and well-presented at all times. Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Assist with cash handling and processing payments as required. Own transport essential. Potential staff accommodation for the right candidates.

Skills

Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour. Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A keen attention to detail to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
