Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic people to join our brand new team and help us build an excellent reputation at The Jekyll & Hyde. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised dining and bar area. There are a lot of opportunities to progress quickly for the right people.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude. Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations when needed. Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation meets our standards. Assist with food preparation as required, adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and utensils. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to provide solutions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. Uphold high standards of hospitality throughout each shift. Opening & closing the pub.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in food preparation or bartending is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. A team player who can also work independently when required. Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred but not essential. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
