Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring exceptional service throughout their experience. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for customer service and a keen interest in the food and beverage industry.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Prepare and serve food and beverages, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Operate cash registers, handling transactions with basic math skills to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; we welcome individuals eager to learn. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations. Barista experience is a plus, particularly for those interested in beverage preparation. Skills in serving and food preparation will be advantageous for this position. Strong time management abilities are essential to thrive in a fast-paced environment This part-time role is designed to fit around school hours, making it ideal for parents returning to work.

Working hours are typically from 9:30?AM to 3:00?PM, averaging around 18 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
