Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Front of House and Cafe Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and a strong understanding of the importance of being part of a customer focused business. You will work alongside other members of the front of house team along with kitchen, assisting in smooth running of the cafe. You will play a vital role in helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Serving and making Barista Coffee/Hot chocolates etc... alongside serving delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, whilst ensuring to adhere to the Health and Hygiene standards.

Responsibilities



Assist in the opening and closing of the cafe . Assisting with helping food prep and displays for the cakes and fridges are kept up to date. Using a Barista machine to make a variety of Coffees Help to prepare and assist variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Ensure all food is handled in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the help of the planning of menus, taking into consideration seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe and FOH area, including proper storage of food and drink items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Be up to date and be prepared to take additional training to maintain skill levels. General FOH duties

Qualifications



Proven experience in hospitality preferred but not essential. Full training can be given to the right candidate. Good knowledge of meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 40 per week
