We are looking for an enthusiastic Front of House/Concierge , who will work alongside the building facilities team to support with providing receptionist duties, security duties, and post room duties. The ideal candidate will support the building by enhancing the customer experience with occupiers, visitors and contractors.

Position:

Front of House/Concierge

Pay rate:

30,000 per annum

Shift Pattern:

Monday - Friday (8 hour shift 08:00 - 17:00, 1 hour unpaid break)

Reception Duties:



Covering reception staff holidays & breaks while adhering to Front of House Assignment instructions Permits co-ordination - liaising with the site team, assisting contractors & occupiers with permit queries Conducting H&S Induction for contractors Wearing uniform Respond to all reasonable requests from tenants including requests for assistance Respond to all reasonable requests from tenants, visitors and contractors but do not make promises on behalf of our client Project a highly professional manners, always representing our client in a positive fashion Register arrival and departure of all visitors and contractors on the in-house visitors booking system To support with occupiers with the app portal by supporting with communal space bookings and app registration. Contact the appropriate tenant or employees to meet their visitor or contractor Answering general phone enquiries within 3 rings professionally, responding to questions and transfer calls as required Responding to enquiries from internal and external customers regarding such information as; locations of rooms, local services, and local amenity information Initiate the emergency procedures as warranted consistent with assigned location emergency response guidelines Perform ongoing administrative support function as time and skill level permits Maintain confidentiality Make visitors aware of the building health and safety procedure and make them aware of the weekly fire alarm test.

Post Room Duties:



To cover post room staff holidays & breaks, while following the Post room procedure Receiving Royal Mail delivery Receiving couriers' deliveries Sorting all post and logging registered mail on the Infocom's tool system Distribution of post to each tenant, providers, projects and management
Post room duties are only required should the business be short staffed

Events Duties:



Provide assistance during events by providing manual handling support where required To work alongside the Customer Experience Manager to carry out required tasks

Security Duties:



Guarding premises against unauthorised access or occupation, against outbreaks of disorder or against damage Guarding property against destruction or damage, against being stolen or against being otherwise dishonestly taken or obtained Guarding one or more individuals against assault or against injuries that might be suffered in consequence of the unlawful conduct of others. Provide protection for the premises against theft, criminal damage, trespass, fire, flooding, or other adverse conditions. To report and record all incidents/occurrences in the documentation provided. Regular building walk rounds are to be completed throughout the location. Duties will consist of controlling access to and from the premises during normal hours and to maintain an alert presence in order to detect and prevent any adverse behaviour of Tenants or Guests

Must have:



Valid SIA licence Proven work experience as a Front of House/Receptionist/Concierge or relevant position (min 1 year) Excellent customer service and communication skills Basic knowledge of H&S legislation (desirable) IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
