Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Assist with organising the dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Maintain cleanliness of the front of house, including tables, counters, and service stations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling Basic maths skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers and team members Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail Willingness to learn new skills such as upselling techniques and advanced customer service approaches This role is perfect for motivated individuals looking to build their experience within the hospitality industry while delivering exceptional service in a lively environment.
