Piccolo Land is a brand-new children's role-play world in the heart of Maidenhead.
Piccolo Land offers a welcoming space for little ones with big imaginations! Children can step into a world of make-believe where they can explore thoughtfully-designed, themed rooms including a pizzeria, post office, hospital and construction site. The areas are equipped with realistic props, costumes, and interactive elements to enhance the role-playing experience and foster immersive learning.

Key Responsibilities
Running Piccolo Land
Be available on
Sundays and Mondays
to coordinate and oversee our play sessions and any booked birthday parties, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Serve our guests with drinks and snacks, ensuring an efficient service
Prepare high-quality coffee and beverages
Manage the setup and close of the cafe
Barista skills are desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Keep the play areas clean, organised, and safe during quick turnaround times between events and/or sessions
Comply with health and safety regulations, including food safety regulations and procedures
Participate in and successfully complete all required training sessions
Parties
Welcome families and ensure the party setup matches their expectations.
Supervise activities, liaise with entertainers (if booked), and coordinate food and cake service.
Be hands-on in managing the schedule of the party or event, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all guests.
Prepare event areas including decorating, setting up activity stations, and arranging seating. Ability to create grazing tables and platters is desired but not essential; training can be provided.
Ensure smooth transitions between activities and timely delivery of any add-ons.
Coordinate with catering teams, entertainers, and photographers (if applicable).
Ensure a quick and efficient venue reset after each event to prepare for the next session / party / event.
Customer Experience & Problem Solving
Provide a warm, friendly, and professional presence during events, ensuring parents and children feel welcome.
Handle any last-minute changes, questions, or minor challenges with a positive and proactive approach.
Gather feedback from parents post-event and suggest improvements for future parties.
Continuously bring new ideas to help enhance the overall guest experience at Piccolo Land
Requirements:
Preferred Experience & Skills
Experience in event planning, hospitality, or customer service (children's entertainment experience is a bonus!).
Strong communication skills and a desire to help create an exceptional experience for our guests
Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure and solve problems.
A proactive and positive approach to customer service.
Creative flair for decorating and party planning is a plus!
Some barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Uphold Health and Safety standards at all times: Abide by health and safety regulations and show a strong commitment to maintaining high standards
Enhanced DBS check and 2 references will be required
Work authorisation in UK is required
