Job Description

A new Palestinian restaurant, Baity has now opened it's 3rd site inside the Tower Bridge Collective food hall, London (well connected by both Tower Hill and London Bridge stations)

We are looking for a Front of House candidate who has experience in customer service or middle eastern cuisine. The ideal candidate will have potential career progression within the company as it expands to other sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

To be the first point of contact for customers, greeting and warmly welcoming them to Baity, explaining the dishes, answering any queries and being able to suggest dishes to suit their requirements. To work independently in preparing components for the day's dishes To be able to work independently on your line and plating for service during lunch/dinner rush Support food safety and hygiene standards by maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment To take initiative Stock taking when required Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation standards are met Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times Working with food delivery partners such as Deliveroo/Uber Eats

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant work, or food preparation Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Intermediate cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a busy environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen setting

Good comprehension of the spoken and written English language
