We are the Red Lion, Winfrith and we are on the look out for a front of house manager to join our exciting business!

The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless dining and drinking experience for our guests while overseeing the daily operations of the front of house team. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in hospitality and leadership, capable of maintaining high standards of service and food safety. The Front of House Manager will work closely with kitchen staff and other departments to create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the restaurant's values.

Duties



Supervise and train front of house staff, ensuring exceptional service standards are met consistently. Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer flow to optimise the dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation. Uphold food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels for front of house supplies and coordinate with suppliers as necessary. Assist in developing menus and special promotions in collaboration with culinary staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Skills



Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams within a hospitality setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff alike. Proficiency in bartending and understanding of beverage pairings is advantageous. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences. Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial for effective collaboration with culinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
