Overview

We are seeking a Front of House Manager to join our close knit team at Lannan Bakery. Working closely with our General Manger and FOH Supervisor to ensure all bases and standards maintained in the Front of House.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and customer service, with previous experience in a management role.

Duties

Supervise daily front of house operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Train, mentor, and manage staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Liaise with the bakery team to ensure seamless communication between front of house and bakery operations. Supervise and maintain quality control of all coffee and beverage preparation. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in cafes or bakeries. Strong knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong barista skills and a real passion for specialty coffee Experience with POS systems and stock management. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.

Specifics

40 hours per week over 5 days. 4 full days on the front, and 1 day for admin, orders, stock control etc. Salary 29,120 pa. 28 days holiday.
