Ashmore Grange is seeking an experienced
Front of House Manager
to work as a pivotal member of the team.
What you will be doing as a Front of House Manager;
To deal with all staffing requirements, assist in the recruitment of suitable employees for the team working in the home, ensure effective inductions take place including uniform orders and fob allocations, ensure the training needs for all the team are identified and met.
Responsible for organisation of staff including; arranging staff rotas, ensuring adequate numbers of staff are employed and all shifts are covered, managing staff holidays and sickness levels.
To update the HR audits with staff personnel file documents.
Deal with incoming and outgoing post/deliveries and give to relevant people or process what is needed.
Order newspapers for residents - keep up to date
Building relationships with relatives and residents, which involves dealing with sensitive subjects.
Keep occupancy chart up to date including daily fire form in the fire box at reception
Payroll responsibilities - Check through statements at end of every month and make sure match up with SAGE inputs. Load staff expenses onto the system through SAGE. Process card payments and cheque payments, send-off cheques, keep receipt for card payment and into the resident file. Managing petty cash, recording it accordingly and sending off Credit card spreadsheet every month with the statement breakdown on it to Finance along with receipts
Chasing debt for residents and going through reports to make sure outstanding debt is followed up and made sure each resident is put on Direct Debit run.
Residents details to be put on our CoolCare system.
To deal with all prospective/potential residents for the home including; providing relevant information and guided tours, assessing potential/new residents and negotiating appropriate fees. Also, to welcome new residents, complete appropriate records and paperwork and ensure adequate arrangements are made for every resident.

What you'll need to be successful as a Front of House Manager;
Extensive experience working in a caring environment.
Minimum of 3 years supervisory management experience.
Knowledge and Management of Budgets, P&L and variance to budget.
Understanding of the Health & Social Care Act and Health & Safety legislation, in-depth knowledge of the Key Line of Enquiry and how the service is regulated against the essential components of KLOE.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Leadership qualities, enthusiasm along with influencing and motivational skills.
Reliable and punctual
