We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role requires a blend of supervisory abilities and culinary knowledge, with an emphasis on food safety and quality service.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including waitstaff and bartenders, to ensure efficient service.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and culinary staff.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring they meet our quality standards.
Manage customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for complete guest satisfaction.
Conduct training sessions for new staff on service protocols, menu knowledge, and hospitality standards.
Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
Implement promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong understanding of culinary practices, food production processes, and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
