The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests while overseeing the front of house team. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will have experience in restaurant management and team supervision, ensuring that all aspects of service meet our high standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for guests.
Manage and train staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence in service.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow and resolve any issues that arise during service.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Maintain inventory levels for front of house supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
Implement training programmes for new staff on hospitality standards, food safety, and service techniques.
Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement within the front of house operations.
Experience
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation and cooking preferred.
Background in serving, barista duties, or hotel management is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations is required.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences.
