Role Overview
This is a key position in our practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients -- welcoming them, managing appointments, and supporting the clinical team with day-to-day administration. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, confident communicator, and enjoys keeping things organised and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients and managing front desk operations aswell as back of house office
Handling phone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
Booking and managing appointments using SOE/Exact software
Processing payments, NHS/private paperwork, and insurance claims
Maintaining accurate patient records and admin systems
Providing administrative support to the dental team
Supporting internal marketing and patient communications
Being a helpful, approachable point of contact for patients and the team
What We're Looking For
Previous reception/admin experience (dental or healthcare preferred)
Experience with
Software of Excellence (Exact)
or similar dental systems is
essential
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and phone etiquette
Professional appearance and a confident, friendly personality
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
A caring, empathetic nature when dealing with patients
Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team
