Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the front of house area, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality while supervising staff and maintaining high standards of service.

Hours

Shifts vary and are scheduled between

9:00 AM and 11:00 PM

, covering breakfast, lunch and evening shifts across

2 to 5 days per week

. We're flexible and happy to work around your availability, as long as it's fair across all shift patterns and shared within the team.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage front of house staff, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service. Assist in training new team members on fhospitality standards, and restaurant procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service timings effectively. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the restaurant.

Experience

Previous experience within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Experience in bartending or knowledge of beverage service is an advantage. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From 12.25 per hour
