The Serving Staff are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining outstanding cleanliness standards, and ensuring every customer enjoys a positive and welcoming experience at the gelateria.

Working Hours:

Between 8:00am and 11:30pm, Monday to Sunday (specific shifts will vary).

General Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service:

- Engage with customers warmly and professionally, ensuring their needs are met with a smile.

- Take and prepare orders accurately, offering product recommendations and information when needed.

- Ensure that all customer interactions align with the company's service standards and values.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards:

- Consistently uphold cleanliness protocols, ensuring that customer-facing areas, serving stations, and seating areas are tidy and presentable at all times.

- Sanitize tools, equipment, and workspaces regularly to meet health and safety regulations.

Be punctual and respectful of team members:

- Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.

Communicate effectively:

- Maintain clear and courteous communication with customers, team members, and management to ensure excellent service and swift issue resolution.

Essential Responsibilities

Customer Experience

- Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all customers.

- Assist customers with menu choices, ensuring all dietary requirements and preferences are considered.

- Resolve any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Managing Change

- Embrace new processes, promotions, and menu changes with a positive attitude.

- Contribute ideas to improve customer satisfaction and the overall experience at the gelateria.

Teamwork

- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure seamless service.

- Collaborate on creating rotas that maximise team performance while respecting individual availability.

- Act as a role model by maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude.

Personal Integrity

- Be honest, professional, and trustworthy in all customer and team interactions.

- Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance records.

- Always represent the company's values, acting with integrity and respect.

Cleanliness and Hygiene

- Keep customer areas clean, including seating areas, counters, and toilets.

- Follow health and safety protocols for serving food and maintaining cleanliness.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour
