Duties
Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements efficiently
Take and serve orders accurately while providing attentive customer service
Assist with food preparation and presentation when necessary
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
Handle cash register operations and process payments accurately
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and dietary options to assist guests effectively
Support catering and banquet events by coordinating service flow and guest needs
Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance overall satisfaction
Skills
Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant, banquet, catering, or hospitality environments
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Ability to serve efficiently in fast-paced settings, including fine dining or banquet environments
Experience as a bartender or barista is a plus for versatile service capabilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Adaptability to various responsibilities including food preparation and dietary accommodations
Previous experience with food industry standards related to health regulations and safety practices
