Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team at our newest Bedford branch. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to guests and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality, food service, and creating memorable customer interactions. Prior experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Please be aware that training for this position will be held at the Edinburgh branch of Side Street from Monday 15th December 2025 to Friday 19th December 2025. Accommodation provided.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in a timely manner Assist with food preparation and presentation when required Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly Support barista duties if applicable, including preparing coffee and other beverages Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during service hours Assist in setting up for events or special functions as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in restaurant service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required Basic food preparation skills are desirable A positive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service Personal presentation should be neat and professional

Pay: 12.21 per hour
