Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer requests are met. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and address any guest concerns promptly. Maintain an organised front-of-house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy while adhering to company policies. Provide assistance during catering events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly. Support barista duties when required, preparing coffee and other beverages to the highest standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in catering or serving roles will be advantageous. A background in food preparation is beneficial for assisting kitchen staff effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are crucial for success in this role. Barista experience is a plus for those interested in beverage preparation. A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable dining experiences is essential.
