As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your role will involve a variety of tasks that contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and enhancing the overall dining experience.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Provide menu information and assist guests in making selections, including upselling specials and promotions. Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating basic culinary skills. Perform basic math calculations for billing and payments.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Experience in serving or guest services is highly desirable. Basic kitchen experience or culinary training will be advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
