As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that each dining experience is enjoyable and memorable while efficiently managing your responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance as needed. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all requests are noted for the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards throughout the process. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills when processing payments.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. Culinary skills or experience in food preparation would be advantageous. A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience.
