Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their experience. Your contributions will be vital in creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow. Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Assist in food preparation and presentation as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Provide assistance during catering events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly. Handle cash and card transactions with care, ensuring accuracy in billing processes.

Skills

Strong understanding of food safety practices is essential. Previous experience in food preparation or catering is advantageous. Excellent hospitality skills with a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bartending skills, is a plus. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A proactive approach to helping guests and resolving any issues that may arise during their visit.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
