Duties

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently. Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and waiting areas. Provide information about menu items, specials, and events to enhance guest experience. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Support catering events as needed, contributing to the overall success of functions. Uphold food safety standards throughout all service processes.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential. Skills in bartending or food preparation would be advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills is essential for engaging with guests effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
