Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle catering events, setting up and breaking down as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their experience.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and team members. Experience as a barista is an advantage, showcasing versatility in service skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Familiarity with catering services is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided as necessary.
