Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer requests are met with attention to detail. Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of service throughout the dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Handle catering requests and assist in setting up for events as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces. Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Strong catering skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent serving skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Barista experience is a plus, particularly in crafting quality beverages. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills with a friendly disposition that fosters positive interactions with guests and team members alike.
