Your role will consist of providing excellent customer service and ensuring every guest has a positive and enjoyable dining experience. As a key part of the restaurant team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You'll work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and uphold high standards of hospitality at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
Taking accurate food and drink orders and inputting them into the POS system
Serving food and beverages efficiently and courteously
Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any issues
Clearing and resetting tables quickly and neatly
Handling payments and processing transactions
Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the front of house areas
Assisting with daily setup, restocking, and closing duties
Following food safety, hygiene, and company service standards
Communicating effectively with kitchen, bar, and management teams
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and experience with POS systems (preferred)
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service ( required)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift light loads
