Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression. Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary. Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards and company policies. Assist with food preparation and ensure that all items are presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales as required. Support special events or catering functions as needed, contributing to the overall success of the establishment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Skills in catering, serving, and food preparation are advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards. Barista experience is a plus, particularly for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are crucial for success in this role.
