Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As the welcoming face of our venue, you will deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, energetic environment. The role involves engaging with guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience, and supporting the smooth operation of our hospitality services.

This position is primarily for evening shifts, with some daytime or morning shifts required when necessary. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, and all positions--including internships--are paid roles offering opportunities for growth within the organisation.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating to ensure a positive first impression

Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations

Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve issues promptly

Support basic food preparation tasks as needed, following food safety standards

Assist with organising reservations and managing waiting lists during busy periods

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service

Experience & Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or general hospitality is preferred

Barista experience or background in food preparation is an advantage

Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable

Experience in a restaurant or similar environment is highly regarded

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
