Experience in food safety, catering, and food preparation is advantageous, as is familiarity with restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Assist with food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Provide support to bartending staff as needed, ensuring drinks are served promptly and correctly. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with grace, striving to provide solutions that enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure the health and safety of both staff and customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help colleagues as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
