We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant or hotel management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensuring seamless service delivery while maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality excellence. Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is highly desirable, along with supervisory and team management skills.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, fostering a positive and professional working environment
Oversee the guest experience from arrival to departure, ensuring exceptional service standards are met consistently
Coordinate reservations, seating arrangements, and manage waitlists efficiently
Assist with food service operations when necessary, including food presentation and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols
Manage daily operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards
Train new staff members on service procedures, health & safety regulations, and customer engagement techniques
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front of house and food production teams
Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to uphold the establishment's reputation for hospitality excellence
Requirements
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in serving or hospitality roles such as barista or front of house staff is advantageous
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is desirable
Previous hotel or restaurant experience will be considered an asset
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with guests and staff alike
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
