Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience from arrival to departure. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service, with a focus on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided to develop your skills further.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Handle payments accurately using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts Upsell menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and optimise sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas Assist in food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and sales performance Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not essential Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
