Duties

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service. Assist in food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces. Support catering events as required, contributing to the successful execution of functions. Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients to assist guests in making informed choices.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with food safety regulations is advantageous. Experience as a barista or in catering roles is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to serving, food preparation, and customer service is highly valued.
